Strong musical ability and experience in ensemble singing is needed. Prospective singers must have a love of all musical styles, from classical to Broadway and Pops. All vocal parts are encouraged to audition.

NJCS rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings in Ramsey, NJ from 7:30 - 10:00pm. Additional rehearsals are scheduled the week prior to all concerts. Regular attendance at rehearsals is required for each performance.

For the audition, be prepared to sing one prepared song of your choice. Bring an extra copy of music for the accompanist. Tonal memory and sight reading will also be tested.

Auditions are usually conducted in late August to early September and early January.
