London Festival Tour

June 28 – July 5, 2012

Join with singers from NJCS and friends in a tour to London and Scotland ! Hear our Festival Chorus perform on July 4, 2012 as we present

 The Fire Within, a Concert of International Friendship and Goodwill

Originally scheduled for London’s Southwark Cathedral, this concert will be held in Westminster Hall on the anniversary of our country’s founding. The musical gala will Light the Fire Within as singers join in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (“the Choral”), and also perform other well-known musical selections associated with the Olympic Games under the direction of conductor Eric Dale Knapp.

Optional Extension Tour to Scotland

July 5 – 8, 2012

Following our stay in London, tour members have an option to continue on to Edinburgh, Scotland, where our NJCS chorus will perform again in one of that city’s major cathedrals. The group will return to the U.S. on July 8.

Members of our audience and other friends are welcome to join in this experience and share the thrill of our performances in outstanding historic venues in England and Scotland. Guest singers are invited to inquire about the possibility of singing with the Festival Chorus. Full tour details are available in our brochure.
