Building bridges, not walls — through travel, the great unifier, and music, the universal language.

A powerful exchange of ideas, cultures, and ways of life possess the unique ability to bring people together and cultivate a strong, mindful state of global awareness.  As musicians we have the opportunity to reach out and make a difference within our local communities, nationally and internationally at this pivotal time. The time is now for us to respond as a community committed to the power of live performance and create art that educates.

On behalf of our colleagues at OrchestraNEXUS we invite you to join us for PATHWAYS TO PEACE, a Premiere European Experience, taking place in ROUEN, PARIS and BERLIN in July 2019. This is a unique musical commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Normandy Landings, the 100th Anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, recognizing the Centenary of the Great War, and the 30th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Tour options are available for singers and non-singers.

Concerts will take place in world-class venues, performed in partnership with the finest professional musicians of OrchestraNEXUS, the Nexus Choral Artists, and renowned soloists, led by Maestro Eric Dale Knapp. The centerpiece of this concert tour will be performances of Beethoven’s life-affirming Symphony No. 9.

The experience will feature the World-Premiere of OrchestraNEXUS’ commission from award-winning composer Julian Revie of Laudato Si Prologue — a piece of hope and reconciliation rising up through a serene harmonization of human music with the voices of earth’s original musicians:  singing birds

Packages run from 4 to 17 days. Tour details, contact and registration information can be found in the downloadable brochure.
