Home for the Holidays

Fire up the hearth and break out the hot chocolate and marshmallows as we celebrate Home for the Holidays with such festive cherished classics as “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays,” “Let It Snow,” “Christmas Time is Here,” “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” White Christmas,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and a medley of holiday favorites from the movie Home Alone.

Greetings from the Garden State

New Jersey is the home to many popular and award-winning artists and some of their chart-topping hits will be highlighted.  Swing and sway to the hits of Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Donald Fagan and Steely Dan, Kool and the Gang, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and many others.

Gloryland

With music unique to our “home,” our Masterworks concert will highlight American songs from the tradition of Spirituals, Gospel and the Sacred Harp. Robert Shaw’s arrangement of “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal,” along with favorite spirituals from Gloryland such as ‘Do Lord,” “Walk Together Children,” “A City Called Heaven” and “Ol’ Time Religion” with solos, brass quintet, and timpani will be featured. And the American Gospel tradition will be explored with Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass and “He Never Failed Me Yet” with a full gospel rhythm section.
