The New Jersey Choral Society’s CAMERATA was established to present chamber music and offer performances of intriguing repertoire from the choral arts canon. Programs have included the Herbert Howells Requiem, Duruflé Quatre Motets and Toivo Tulev Summer Rain. On October 8, 2016, CAMERATA performed their Lincoln Center debut as Coro Interno in Gnecchi’s Cassandra with Teatro Grattacielo. In April 2017 CAMERATA was invited by the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra to appear with them in performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Singers for CAMERATA are selected based on the requirements of repertoire, creating a distinctive level of performance practice. In the press, CAMERATA has been hailed as “Impeccable” by Betsy Murphy of the Ridgewood News.
